Tapas

Tapas

invention
by

King
Alfanso
x.
He
once
fell
sick
and
instead
of
regular
meals
teamed
Wine
with
some
quick
bites.
After
his
recovery,
he
started
the
trend
of
these
starters
christened
Tapas.
According
to
another
story,
Tapas
was
the
basic
use
of
Bread
or
Meat
pieces
used
to
cover
drinks.
It
was
an
attempt
to
prevent
flies
hovering
on
the
sweet
Sherry.
The
meat
used
to
cover
the
drinks
was
usually
Ham
which
was
both
salty
and
dry
and
added
on
to
increase
thirst.
For
this
reason
the
restaurant
owners
started
serving
different
preparation
of
Ham
