"We were 3 friends who had went to this palce on 26th of December'09.



This day, they just had a buffet @ 550 per person...



At first we were very skeptical as the price was too high and we were having Bengali food for the first time.



We started with Aam panna.... excellent!!!

Basmati rice... Begun Bhaja ( Eggplant rubbed with salt, chilli powder and tumeric and shallow fried)

Moong Mahon ( Moong dal, with coconut and aam chur)

Aloo Jhinga Posto ( Gravy aloo )

Jhur Jhure Aloo Bhaja( Jullienes of potatoes, crispy & Crunchy )

Chhanar Kalia (Cottage cheese balls simmered in a rich red gravy )

If you are a Bengali or if you are not yet tried Bengali dishes 6 Ballygunge Place restaurant is the better choice. On any Bengali festive, they served different varieties of Bengali dishes. Their buffet was great. The ambiance is good. Service is Ok
